My name is Lisa and I'm the mom of Simple Suburban Living. My husband and I decided to start sharing our life with the online community because we've always been so appreciative of what the Internet has done for us. Whenever we want to learn how to do something, we Google it, or hop on YouTube to watch a video tutorial. Now it's our turn to give back and hopefully help others out there just like us.
I stepped out of corporate America three years ago and that is when we decided to slow down, start cooking our meals and grow our own food! We've learned so much and now it's time we share what we learned with others. But life isn't always easy around our house. We argue and make mistakes, too. That is why we are ever so grateful to God for sending us a Savior in Jesus and live everyday in gratitude of His love and grace, and share our faith with others.
My name is Todd, and I'm the dad of Simple Suburban Living. I am a computer technician who enjoys working on projects around the house. Some of those projects include deck-building, tile work, above-ground pool installation, and our indoor aquaponics system. I am looking forward to sharing my best practices with you, as well as some of the pitfalls that one can run into when doing things yourself.
